arketipo firenze’s haute couture furniture embraces italian heritage, authentic design + functionality
with a passion for florentine textiles and the quality craftsmanship that goes into manufacturing fabrics, arketipo firenze has set out on a mission to translate the inherent characteristics — the beauty, the italian essence of aesthetics and authentic design — of these materials into upholstered furniture… with an haute couture twist! the result is a collection that results in chic pieces for living that embrace heritage and functionality in a refined way. during salone del mobile 2016, the florence-based company presented new novelties that bring sophisticated, industrial elegance to the domestic realm.
the expression of quality and attention to detail is seen in the ‘roxy’ armchair by giuseppe vigano. an eclectic seating object with a sinuous and junoesque shape, it is characterized by a pinch-quilted upholstered cover. a refined and unusual design, its high back looks like a contemporary regal throne, while its wide seat welcomes the body in a refined embrace, offering multiple seating positions.
gino carollo’s ‘oracle’ dining table expresses a circular geometric shape that projects totality and centrality – a symbol of perfection. its circular or oval top is made of MDF, veneered in mocha oak or sucupira. this is supported by a unique base that resembles the construction of the flower of life: three overlapping circles that appear to turn around a single point. the metal base is available in micaceous brown, brass or titanium.
